FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a subscription?
No.
All licenses are one-time purchases. You pay once and own the right to use the font forever — no hidden fees or annual renewals.
Can I get a refund or exchange?
Because fonts are digital and available for download the moment payment is completed, we cannot offer refunds as a general rule — the product is considered delivered. That said, if you run into a technical issue (a corrupt file, an installation problem, something not working as described), contact us within 14 days and we will sort it out.
Can I edit the font file?
No. You may not open the font in FontLab, Glyphs, or similar software and modify it. Contact us for any required modifications and we will provide a quote.
Can I use a font for a logo?
Yes. A Desktop License covers logo design. You may typeset the logo and outline the letterforms, then modify the shapes freely. You cannot save the modified shapes back into a font file.
Can I give the font to my printer?
You may send the font file to a service bureau or printer strictly for printing your project, provided they delete the file immediately after. Converting to outlines before sending is the safer alternative.
What about fonts in video?
Static video titles (rendered as pixels) are covered by a Desktop License. If you are building a tool that lets users type with the font, you need an App License.
Do I need a new license per project?
Not necessarily. The Desktop License is seat-based — one seat covers unlimited client projects for that one designer. If a client needs to install the font to make edits, they must purchase their own license.
Who should the license be registered to?
Register the license in the client's name. As a designer you may order on their behalf during checkout, or the client can purchase directly.
I'm a student. Can I get a discount?
Yes. Send us your student ID or proof of enrollment to website@tourdefonts.com and we'll arrange a student discount for you.
Can I get trial fonts?
Yes. Go to any font page and below the Purchase section you'll find a Trial Request form. Fill it in and we'll get back to you with a trial version.
