Dondolare is developed in two weights showing lots of positivity, character and freshness. It’s evident that Dušan Jelesijević really had a lot of fun with this typeface playing with uneven jumping rhythm of the baseline, irregular letterforms, and attractive overall look. Dondolare seems to be a reflection of some nice and funky mood and thus becoming an ideal choice for artistic t-shirts and posters, toy packaging with funny naive spirit, food packaging and logos. Legible in small text sizes it also excellent for print ads as well as for eBooks, web design, etc. It’s highly recommended to use it in combination with textured paper, solid pastel backgrounds with more visible trapping and overprints to enhance its charm and character.

Years ago a country boy heard or read that if a simple box having a hole of a certain size were set upon a post in March or early April it would not be long before bluebirds would be around to see if the place would do as a summer cottage. So he took an old paint keg such as white lead is sold in, nailed a cover across the top, cut an opening in the side and then placed it on a post ten or twelve feet high.
We are happy to announce start of our new website section called "WebSpecimen". It should collect typefaces that we think they could be fully useful as webfonts. The idea is to show how an typeface acts in different layout situations, from body text to big titles.
